The Oslo Business for Peace Summit & Award 2014
The Oslo Business for Peace Award is the highest form of recognition given to individual business leaders for fostering peace and stability through creating shared value between business and society. The Oslo Business for Peace Award 2014 will be held on May 15, with a full day’s program of activities. The day will conclude with the naming of this year’s Honourees, and the official Honourees’ Dinner at Akershus Castle in the evening. This year’s nominees were entered by the foundation’s partners: the International Chamber of Commerce, the United Nations Development Programme, and the United Nations Global Compact. The 2014 Business for Peace Honourees will be named by the independent award committee, consisting of Nobel Prize winners in Peace and Economics.
